The Conference Dinner will also be held at same hotel and will take place as usual on the Thursday evening, commencing with a drinks reception at 19:15. Dress for the dinner is black tie.
LDC RepresentativesGiven the event now spans two days, LDC Representatives are entitled to receive up to £25.00 subsistence on the Thursday evening. This subsistence entitlement will automatically be honoured by the Conference Fund for Representatives attending the dinner. The cost of subsidised dinner tickets is £30.00 per LDC Representative.
Permitted ObserversLDCs permitted to send only one Representative are permitted to also send an accompanying Observer to the Conference. The Conference fees for the Observer are covered by the Conference Fund; however travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses should be covered by the individual LDC. Dinner tickets for Observers are not subsidised and therefore are available at a cost of £55.00
GDPC MembersGiven the event now spans two days, in line with BDA expense policy GDPC members are entitled to receive up to £25.00 subsistence on the Thursday evening. This subsistence entitlement will automatically be honoured by the BDA for those attending the event in the capacity of GDPC, and as such the cost of purchasing a dinner ticket as a member of the GDPC is £30.00
Dinner guestsGuests are welcome to attend the Dinner and tickets can be purchased online for a cost of £55.00.
A limited number of places for Additional Observers are available and can be booked via Fiona.
LDCs will be required to cover all costs associated with an Additional Observer’s attendance at the event. The registration fee for the Conference is £88.00 and Dinner tickets are £55.00 per person.
HOW TO REGISTER
All attendees to the event must register online before Friday 6 April 2018.
Payment for dinner tickets is required by credit card at point of booking. Where applicable bookers/attendees should liaise with the Treasurer of their LDC to seek reimbursement.
Please ensure you select the correct category/ticket type during the registration process:
• LDC Representative
• LDC Observer
• GDPC members
Options with or without dinner tickets exist for each of the above categories.
Please ensure a unique email address is entered for everyone attending the Conference. This is to enable login and verification to the voting system, as well as circulated of information leading up to the event.
On completion of the registration process an email should be received confirming the place/s booked and acting as a receipt for payment made.
Final papers will be circulated to all registered Conference attendees by email in the week commencing 7 May 2018.
Such changes affect voting permissions for the Conference and also billing instructions for accommodation so it is important advance notice is given.
Refunds for any dinner tickets cancelled on or after Tuesday 8 May will be not be possible.
